Our compound is designed in the traditional Balinese manner modeled on the sacred human form with shrines at the head, guest accommodation at the heart and other facilities at the foot. Guests enjoy spectacular sunsets and stunning panoramas of the rice fields and coast. Evenings are cool and refreshing.

The people of Munduk village are involved as much as possible in caring for our guests. We not only provide employment, but engage them in activities that maintain the tropical rainforest and preserve water. We also encourage the young villagers to keep their cultural heritage alive with traditional dance, music and crafts.

Puri Lumbung Cottages Mission:
To develop a small scale model of rural tourism development as a core of economic activities in which both human being and natural components will get a sustainable direct and indirect benefits. It is also to confirm that if tourism is planned and developed ethically will drive economic and non economic proportionally.

All rooms at Puri Lumbung Cottages are crafted from hardwood in traditional North Balinese designs. Our rooms are designed to be secure and earthquake resistant.

Providing space for a family or group of four or more with a spacious living area, bedroom, two bathrooms, balcony and a fire place.

1 Deluxe Family Cottage
With double the space of the Family Cottage, two bathrooms, an open fireplace and connecting balcony.

Puri Garden II has 22 rooms. Fully equipped with its facilities such as bar & restaurants, swimming pool, natural garden with its colorful local flowers.

1 Deluxe Alam Dewata
Our Villa offers spectacular views over verdant rice fields, a dramatic valley and the distant sea. It features one bedroom upstairs, one down stairs, an open-air bathroom, fireplace and kitchenette.

Beyond the Jimbaran Puri Bali are the numerous beaches of the island, the spectacular artists’ village of Ubud with its famous rice terraces, shopping at Nusa Dua and Legian, and the rugged splendour of Uluwatu and its cliff-top temple. Golf courses also offer a challenging round just five minutes away.

ACCOMMODATION

Spacious cottages offer king sized beds, sunken baths, and a separate outdoor garden shower: moreover, each has a private courtyard and terrace. The 41 individual cottages are scattered amongst a dramatic tropical garden set back from the white sands of Jimbaran.

Each boasts a spacious bedroom and large adjoining bathroom, as well as a private garden in the Balinese style with table and chairs & an outdoor shower. Most of the cottages also have a spacious indoor sitting area, with a sleeper sofa, coffee table, desk and mini bar. Each cottage now features a 32” flat screen cable television, together with a DVD player.

The bathrooms feature sunken bathtubs, with both fixed and handheld showers, twin basins, magnifying mirrors, hairdryers and separate toilets.

Dedicated to the serious dive enthusiast, (Mimpi’s outdoor showers are accessible from a separate outdoor entrance, so divers may enter directly without having to first enter their room) the Mimpi Resort Tulamben provides the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday whilst exploring some of Indonesia’s most interesting underwater adventurelands. The wreck of the USS Liberty lies just off-shore and instruction by experienced professional PADI dive instructors is available, as is rental equipment.
